MANUFACTURING ENGINEER
M-B Companies, Inc., a leading manufacturer of surface maintenance equipment, is searching for a qualified Manufacturing Engineer for our New Holstein, WI facility.
Essential job functions for this position include: develops and implements cost reduction measures; develops and designs jigs and fixtures to improve production, safety, quality, and output; develops and create procedures to improve safety, quality, and output; works with maintenance to ensure all equipment is working at optimum performance; monitors plant utilities and find ways for cost savings; performs any machine programming as required; oversee production routings and makes necessary changes to improve production time; improves data collection processes; coordinates and improve shop layout flow and processes; works with Engineering to improve manufacturability in new designs.
Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering and/or 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication (verbal and written), computer, and organizational skills. Pro-E experience is a plus.
BUSINESS UNIT DIRECTOR-BRUSH DIVISION
M-B Companies, Inc., a leading manufacturer of surface maintenance equipment, is searching for a qualified Business Unit Director to manage our Brush Division. Essential job functions for this position include: Plans, develops and implements organization policies and goals, Coordinates activities of divisions or departments such as operating, manufacturing, engineering, planning, sales, maintenance, or research and development, to effect operational efficiency and economy, Directs and coordinates promotion of products manufactured or services performed to develop new markets, increase share of market, and obtain competitive position in industry, analyzes division or department budget requests to identify areas in which reductions can be made, and allocates operating budget, Confers with administrative personnel and reviews activity, operating, and sales reports to determine changes in programs or operations required, Directs preparation of directives to division or department administrator outlining policy, program, or operations changes to be implemented, Promotes organization in industry, manufacturing or trade associations.
Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field plus 7 to 10 years of hands-on experience overseeing a department, business unit, or division in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication (verbal and written), computer, and organizational skills.
